Campfire lesson #1:When the fire bengis to die down, add more wood.Campfire lesson #2:Fire needs air. Stack your wood in a teepee shape so air can get between the logs. Campfire lesson #3:You need some tinder. Tinder is smaller pieces of wood, little dry sticks, etc. that will catch fire and burn more quickly. Start your fire with the tinder, then slowly add larger pieces of wood as the fire builds.Campfire lesson #4:Use dry wood. If you're using fatwood, you sure don't need lighter fluid. That's just overkill. Fatwood, a match and well-stacked firewood is all you need for a good fire.
